August 2021: Title tag display update
Since August 2021, the web giant, Google, has implemented a new algorithm. From now on, the Title tag (you know the blue title you see when you do a search) is no longer necessarily the title given upstream.
Don’t panic, our Rollingbox experts will explain everything to you.
Not only can Google use the Title tag, but now Google does what it wants . The algorithm allows itself to pick content from the text of the page or take the H1, H2 tags, etc. (roughly explained, these are the subtitles of your page here, for example “August 2021: Update of the display of the Title tag”) Google now wants to offer “ Title snippets ” that better respond to searches, depending on the query, the title of the web page could change.
-You have been warned, work on your Title tags. It is important to optimize them with 7-10 descriptive words (60 characters max) and above all avoid Titles that are too short between 1-4 words!
